Jennifer Russell

Jennifer Russell served as Executive Director of the Foundation from 2015 to 2023 when she took a position with The Nature Conservancy as a Senior Development Officer.  She is happy to stay on with the Foundation as a Board Member.  Prior to Hillsdale, she was at  Stanford University where she worked in fundraising and program management for four years.  Prior to that, she worked as a Program Director at The Development Fund, a national non-profit,  for six years designing, launching and raising money for public purpose financing intermediaries.   Her other work experiences include banking, consulting and teaching middle school in Thailand.  Jennifer’s volunteer experiences include running large fundraising events for St. Paul’s School, serving on the PTA of Foster City Elementary School and coaching soccer.  Jennifer attended both Dartmouth and Vassar, graduating from Vassar College with a BA in History.  She studied International Business at Erasmus University in the Netherlands while earning her MBA from UC Davis.  Jennifer has one graduate, Gillian (Class of 2021), and two current Hillsdale students, Sean & Fiona (Class of 2027).  She is heavily invested in the continued success of the school.
