Carrie is not new to the Hillsdale High School community, personally nor professionally. Her daughter Alana graduated from HHS in 2013 and her son Evan is currently a sophomore. While Alana was at Hillsdale, Carrie was very involved with the Drama and Music Booster groups, was a member of the PTSO and more recently the inaugural Corporate Sponsorship Committee, offering her fundraising expertise to all groups along the way. Carrie joins the Hillsdale High School Foundation Board bringing 15 years of professional experience in the nonprofit world, all of which is San Mateo County based. Her most recent Director of Development position at San Mateo County Community Colleges Foundation (SMCCCF) focused primarily on raising funds for scholarships and program development for our three community colleges. She also brings experience as an educational administrator and elementary school teacher, receiving her credential from Notre Dame de Namur University. Carrie is a true native to the Bay Area, born in San Francisco and raised on the Peninsula. She is a USC graduate, earning her BA in Communication Arts and Sciences. Carrie has served on many Boards throughout our community and is very grateful for the opportunity to serve as Secretary on the HHS Foundation Board. Carrie has been married to her husband Bret for 21 years, loves dogs (she has 4 of them!) and will continue to lend a helping hand to the HHS community for as long as it needs her!
