Mike has been teaching math at Hillsdale High School since 2012. Prior to Hillsdale, he taught at City Arts & Technology High School, an Envision charter school in San Francisco. The courses Mike has taught at Hillsdale include Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus and AP Statistics. He received his M.A. in the teaching of mathematics along with his teaching credential from Stanford University and his B.A. in economics from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to becoming a math teacher, Mike worked for J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. for over 20 years in New York City, Houston, and San Francisco. Mike and his wife Betsy have lived in San Mateo County for over 20 years.
